- Ricky Graduated in 2006 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering From The University of California, Berkeley
- He spent 6 years as an Aerospace Engineer for the Department of Defense, with the US Navy F/A-18 Fighter program.

- He spent the next 4 years at Good Technology & Blackberry as an iOS Developer
- Working on Mobile application management software

- Building enterprise features for one of the world’s largest enterprise platforms
- He started Two Bit da Vinci in 2017, as a part time passion project
- in June 2021 he took his passion to the next level and went full time as a science and sustainability Content Creator on YouTube.
